• Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Locum Tenens)
• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Community hospital, 16-bed blended ICU/CVICU unit
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens, travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250-$2310
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed
  
  

CVICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs in Arizona)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or blended ICU nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency with Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR
  
  

CVICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU
• Manage and monitor patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Intermediate Care Unit and assist with ED holding as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Medhost EHR
• Comply with hospital policies, including attendance and dress code (scrubs required)
