Home Health RN Job Details
- Location: Wichita, KS (serving a 50-mile radius in the 5-county metro area)
- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens, Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: October 13, 2025
- End Date: January 11, 2026
- Duration: 13-week nursing contract
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,870 - $1,920
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health nursing experience required
- Proficiency with OASIS documentation (required for home health jobs)
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel nursing assignments
Home Health RN Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care to home health patients across the Wichita, KS metro area
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Accurately document all nursing care and patient progress using OASIS
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques
- Travel within a 50-mile radius to provide clinical support in a variety of home settings
