Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: Wichita, KS (serving a 50-mile radius in the 5-county metro area)
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens, Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: January 11, 2026
• Duration: 13-week nursing contract
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,870 - $1,920

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas
• Minimum 1 year of recent home health nursing experience required
• Proficiency with OASIS documentation (required for home health jobs)
• Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel nursing assignments

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care to home health patients across the Wichita, KS metro area
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Accurately document all nursing care and patient progress using OASIS
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques
• Travel within a 50-mile radius to provide clinical support in a variety of home settings
