Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers for pre- and post-operative nursing care. The RN advocates for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing patient condition during admission and shifts, reporting changes.
  • Performing procedures as ordered by providers.
  • Documenting care in medical records promptly and thoroughly.
  • Administering prescribed medications and monitoring responses.
  • Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications needed:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Licensed as an (APRN) or (RN).
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree.
