ER RN Job Details – Kingwood, TX

• Location: Kingwood, Texas 77339 (Houston metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (28 beds)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7A-7P)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
• Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1730

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficient in IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKG interpretation
• Strong clinical skills and ability to thrive in a high-acuity ER setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Room
• Perform emergency procedures including IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (RNs, techs, unit secretaries)
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety protocols
• Support patients and families during critical and stressful situations
