Location and Job Details

• Location: Facility in Lander, Wyoming
• Job Details: ICU RN for a 6-week travel assignment

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments per critical care protocols
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses promptly
• Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, pulmonary artery catheters)
• Provide education to patients and families about the ICU environment and recovery expectations
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency through ongoing education and training
• Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes
• Other duties as assigned within scope
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Required: One year of recent ICU RN experience
• Licensure: Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• CCRN certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and basic PC skills
• Physical ability to move and assist with equipment (50–100 lbs) and to perform in a high-acuity setting
