Overview
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a ICU RN for a 6-week travel assignment in Lander, Wyoming. You will provide comprehensive critical care to patients in the intensive care unit, assess and monitor critically ill patients, operate life-support equipment, administer advanced treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Location and Job Details
- Location: Facility in Lander, Wyoming
- Job Details: ICU RN for a 6-week travel assignment
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments per critical care protocols
- Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses promptly
- Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, CVP, pulmonary artery catheters)
- Provide education to patients and families about the ICU environment and recovery expectations
- Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain proficiency through ongoing education and training
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes
- Other duties as assigned within scope
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
- Required: One year of recent ICU RN experience
- Licensure: Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRN certification
- TNCC, NIHSS certification
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and basic PC skills
- Physical ability to move and assist with equipment (50–100 lbs) and to perform in a high-acuity setting
