Travel OBGYN Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee

Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Lawrenceburg, TN 38464
• Facility: 99-bed acute care hospital, OB/GYN unit (6 beds)
• Position Type: Travel RN contract
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/as needed
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 for laboring moms, couplet care unit
• Electronic Health Record: CPM and MEDHOST
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1840-$1890

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of recent OB/GYN and nursery nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver intrapartum and postpartum nursing care to mothers
• Provide comprehensive nursery care for newborns of all ages
• Monitor, assess, and document care for laboring patients and couplet care unit
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize CPM and MEDHOST EHR systems for accurate documentation
• Participate in biweekly orientation and ongoing unit training sessions
• Float to additional hospital units and participate in call coverage as required
