Registered Nurse – Home Health (Locum Tenens) in North Charleston, SC. • Estimated Weekly Salary: $1830 - $1880
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: North Charleston, SC 29406 (South Carolina homecare jobs)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Locum Tenens)
• Healthcare Setting: Home Health (patients\' homes and care facilities)
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (08:00 - 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: Saturday and Sunday (8pm-5am)
• Territory: Up to 75-mile travel radius from home clinic
• Mileage: Reimbursed at IRS standard rate (from patient home to patient home)

Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina (must have license in hand)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Adult Home Health or Hospice nursing experience
• CPR and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) EMR system (recent use or willingness to retrain)
• Experience with Oasis documentation
• Reliable transportation, valid driver\'s license, and agency-required liability insurance
• Ability to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
• First-time travelers not accepted; must have recent specialty experience in home health nursing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver home health nursing care in accordance with physician orders and agency policies
• Supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses
• Conduct home visits and attend periodic office meetings
• Manage a caseload of 5–10 patients per day (average 5–8)
• Provide nursing care for Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits
• Complete timely documentation and travel activities as assigned
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Maintain productivity expectations and quality standards for home health care
