Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN), within their scope of practice, is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum. Provides services that encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of care, disease prevention, and health conservation. Contributes to the mission and core values of CHI Health.

Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. This is an ongoing process that can conclude at any stage.

Assessment - Demonstrates a systematic, dynamic approach to collecting and analyzing healthcare consumer data, including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program
• Registered Nurse: IA (RN:IA)
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - within 5 months
