Trucent Inc. is hiring: Night Shift Operator in Van Wert

Overview

Night Shift Operator at Trucent Inc. in Van Wert, Ohio. The role supports the Renewable Chemical Plant, operating equipment and process controls for mixing and blending liquid and dry materials according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow machinery and batch instructions.
• Gather raw materials; measure and mix according to batching instructions. Package finished goods into containers or totes as specified.
• Record information regarding material usage and finished products when necessary.
• Operate machinery necessary for producing product.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding area.
• Ensure EH&S and company policies are followed.
• Handle waste to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Support company FSSC initiative by maintaining and improving food safety and food quality through completing job tasks, following GMPs and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in an operator role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
• Leadership skills such as decision making, motivation, and goal-setting.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems; ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively.
• Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.

Education and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2+ years in an operator role in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Benefits and Compensation

• Starting pay between $20-22 per hour.
• Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision).
• 3 weeks of vacation.
• 12-hour shifts (6:00 pm – 6:00 am). Training on day shift (6:00 am – 6:00 pm) before moving to night shift.

Schedule

• Initial schedule: Week 1 4 days on (Mon–Thu), Week 1 total 52 hours, Week 2 36 hours, Week 3 36 hours, Week 4 36 hours; cycle resets every 4 weeks.
• Potential shift to a 7-day schedule as orders increase.
