Machine Operator (Print) - Night Shift at Pactiv Evergreen Inc. – Woodridge, IL

We are hiring immediately for experienced operators in Automation, Blow/Blown Film, Extrusion, Print, Slitter and Plastics Machine Operation.

Compensation

• Pay Range: $24.11 to $26.33 per hour – paid weekly
• Additional $1 per hour night shift differential
• Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases

Responsibilities

• Safe setup and operation of all phases of the printing operation
• Install/remove printing plates, mandrels and related equipment; register print images; initiate new print setups with acceptable quality and rate
• Perform minor repairs, process troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks
• Direct packers on the operator’s lines; complete related paperwork; conduct quality inspections; assist with breaks and department housekeeping; work safely

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 2+ years of printing experience or equivalent production equipment experience with machine adjustments
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
• Clear written and verbal communication; basic math skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
