Opportunity: Housekeeping Inspector

Inspect hotel rooms to ensure supplies and amenities are fully stocked, and rooms meet HHM and brand standards for cleanliness and maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

• Train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform according to brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
• Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies.
• Issue supplies and equipment to associates.
• Inspect work to meet specifications and standards.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Discuss performance and personnel issues with staff, and communicate company policies.
• Oversee training of Room Attendants, possibly partnering with third-party vendors.
• Screen and hire job applicants.
• Supervise Laundry employees, if applicable.
• Schedule employee work hours.
• Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Cross-train in the breakfast area to assist with guest questions and cleaning duties as needed.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Work Environment and Context:

• Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, bending.
