Element provides an essential supply of recycled products to America's battery manufacturers to produce high quality, top performing batteries to power cars, trucks and forklifts, which are vital to keeping our country's supply chain running.

This position is on the D shift. The schedule is Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday; 6pm - 6am.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 2 security check rounds of facility and required key stations per shift
  • Complete proper security check paperwork in accordance with DHS and OSHA standards
  • Perform tasks associated with maintaining respirators, cleaning the change house, offices and lunchroom per OSHA standards
  • Clean high traffic / lunch areas a minimum of 3 times per shift with de-leading agents
  • Disinfect and clean all high touch areas / food areas a minimum of 3 times per shift
  • Take out trash in all areas of the plant and offices as needed
  • Perform uniform laundry duties according to stand procedures
  • Clean employee respirators throughout shift
  • Repair respirators as needed
  • Issue all required personal protective equipment
  • Restroom / locker room / shelf cleanings as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of employee refrigerators and freezers
  • Refill stock items (Gatorade, soap, body wash, shampoo, paper towels, toilet paper, etc)
  • Help set up / facilitate / clean up employee engagement events

Qualifications

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Must be able to follow specific procedures and cleaning
  • Ability to organize and plan
  • Good written and oral communication

SCHEDULES I SHIFTS

  • A, B, C, D shift - 12 hour shifts
  • Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm with flexibility for shift fill ins as needed
