About the role

Compensation: $16.00/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.

HealthFitness is seeking a substitute/as-needed/on-call Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at our client site in Long Island City, NY. Responsibilities include cleaning floors and equipment, maintaining restrooms and locker rooms, doing laundry and folding towels, and other housekeeping services throughout the fitness center.

Hours vary based on demand and scheduling.

Key Accountabilities

• Cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of locker rooms and restrooms.
• Maintaining supplies and amenities throughout the club.
• Cleaning and performing light maintenance on cardiovascular and fitness equipment.
• Ensuring the free weight area is clean and weights are properly stored.
• Washing, drying, folding, and replenishing towels, member garments, cleaning rags, and mop heads.
• Assisting with Service Desk duties.
• Lifting and transporting objects weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Using keyboard and/or typewriter as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
