Job Description
PNA is seeking a Welding Operator for the 3rd shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday) at our Charlotte, NC manufacturing facility. The role involves basic welding to meet quality specifications efficiently and safely. The position offers a per hour shift differential.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Tack Welding experience preferred
- Experience with hand tools, pneumatic tools
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Focus on quality control
- Effective communication and instructing skills in welding assembly
- Team player with collaboration skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Core Responsibilities
- Perform hand welding operations
- Operate welding equipment, regulate current and voltage
- Select appropriate welding rods or wire
- Make decisions aligned with production priorities
- Contribute to daily production goals
- Follow safety policies and procedures
- Assist in training and knowledge sharing
- Test and troubleshoot production line units
- Review equipment and procedures for improvements
- Communicate issues to management
- Maintain workflow and proper tool use
- Resolve problems collaboratively
- Complete quality assurance documentation
- Report daily production accurately
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Environment
Manufacturing conditions with exposure to fumes, heat, dust, and noise. Personal protective equipment required. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
Physical Demands
Regular use of hands, walking, standing, talking, hearing, reaching. Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Ability to mount/dismount forklifts and focus visually.

Compensation
$19.50/hour + $2.25 shift differential
