Location and Shift

This role is in the Williamson, NY facility. Shift: 3rd shift (Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM). 3rd shift is eligible for a $1.50/hour shift differential.

Compensation

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $26.00/hr. This range is provided by Baldwin Richardson Foods. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving forklifts to load, unload, and store food products, equipment, or other materials.
• Operating forklifts and other equipment in a safe manner by following BRF safety procedures.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures, Bills of Lading, and Pick Lists.
• Inputting transactions in SAP to update inventory.
• Assisting as assigned in the organization and cleaning of docks, rack storage areas, and facility.
• Highly technical operation required as some areas of facility have close spacing.

What You Need To Be Successful

• A minimum of one year of forklift operation experience.
• Minimum of six months of continuous experience in a manufacturing or industrial food production facility and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift License preferred but not required; company can certify.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong reading and writing in English to follow SOPs, Bills of Lading, and Pick Lists and to ensure paperwork complies with SQF standards.
• Ability to follow directions, work effectively in teams, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with potential heat, moisture, and noise.
• Wear Food Manufacturing GMP PPE: hard hat, hairnet, steel-toe shoes/boots, face mask as applicable.
