About The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor for the 3rd Shift in Goodyear, AZ, plays a critical role in overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy. This position is responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflow, and maintaining inventory control to meet company standards and customer expectations. The supervisor will implement and enforce safety protocols, monitor performance metrics, and address any operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Additionally, this role requires collaboration with other shifts and departments to ensure seamless handoffs and continuous improvement of warehouse processes. Ultimately, the Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all activities align with organizational goals, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and manage a team during non-standard hours.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to improve warehouse processes.
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the 3rd shift warehouse team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations such as receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and addressing hazards immediately.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory control to resolve discrepancies and optimize stock management.
• Collaborate with other shift supervisors and departments to ensure smooth transitions and continuous operational improvements.
• Prepare and analyze shift reports, productivity metrics, and incident documentation to inform management decisions.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to maintain workflow efficiency.
