MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local clients are NOW HIRING for 3rd shift Machine Operator in the Indianapolis IN area!

• Shift: 3rd shift, Monday to Friday, 12AM-8AM or Monday to Sunday 7PM-7AM (Rotating Weekend)
• Pay: $20.90 / hour
• Location: West Indianapolis

What does a successful Machine Operator do?

You will join the team at our Indianapolis location and receive training on our world class Plastic Production equipment. You will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot the production machines to produce accurate work on a timely basis. You will cross train in other departments of production and perform other tasks depending on workload. Applicants must be U.S. or legal permanent . Please note that we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at any time.

What you will do:

• Operate a variety of production machines to generate personalized credit/debit cards
• Adapt and multitask as production volume changes without advanced notice
• Conduct quality checks to verify that the production materials are accurate according to the job order
• Stage materials after job run for warehouse pickup

What you will need to have:

• Experience using a computer for data entry
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities
• Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often

What would be great to have:

• A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education, and military experience
• 1 year of fast-paced production environment
• 1 year of experience in operating production machine

Important info about this role:

• You will work an assigned schedule of 12 hour rotating shifts- 7am-7pm
• Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
