Overview

Service Wire Company is currently seeking a 3rd shift Material Handler/High Reach Operator in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports warehouse operations by receiving, transporting, and organizing materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and timely preparation of orders for shipment. Operating forklifts—including high reach trucks—is essential, along with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up machinery for production by positioning the payoff, feeder, and take-up
• Operate machinery by adjusting and maintaining production controls according to specifications
• Monitor the quality of wire during production and the finished product
• Perform routine lubrication of machinery parts and minor preventative maintenance
• Observe machine operation for equipment malfunction and report immediately
• Record detailed daily production data
• Maintain safety standards and a clean work environment
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
• Demonstrate strong basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions, direction, and correspondence, both oral and written
• Collaborative work style with manufacturing department and other employees
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate control
• In-person attendance is an essential function of the job
