Positions require employees to stand directly in front of a moving conveyor aligned side-by-side with other employees in close proximity and sort, place, arrange, pull designated ingredients, and pack finished products according to safety, quality, and production standards. Employees are assigned to various duties on the assembly line, which typically change throughout the day, including sorting, assembling, inspecting, and packing products.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Work safely and report hazards immediately.
- Follow work rules, policies, and procedures.
- Uphold food safety requirements, including proper hygiene and wearing appropriate protective gear.
- Collaborate with team members to meet line speed requirements.
- Handle ingredients and finished products as specified.
- Report line breakdowns or quality issues promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including relocation to other lines or locations.
- Work extended hours based on production needs, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old to work at Monogram Foods.
- Desire to grow into a machine operator role quickly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and maintain balance on wet/slippery surfaces for extended periods.
- Repetitive reaching and bending as required by conveyor heights.
- Ability to observe and work with moving products safely.
- Coordination to handle components accurately and quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and tolerate noise, cold, and wet environments.
Preferred Skills
Ability to recognize word and number similarities, and perform basic addition and subtraction.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
