Position: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Solon, OH

Pay: $35.65 per hour, plus shift differential

Schedule:

• Night Shift, 12-Hour, 7am to 7pm, 3 on 4 off / 4 on 3 off + $.40 cent shift differential
• 3rd Shift, 11pm to 7am, Monday thru Friday + $.58 cent shift differential

PrideStaff is conducting a search for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for their Solon client. Our client is a privately owned company with decades of experience as an industry leader.

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will enjoy great benefits, strong pay and a team environment in our client’s union facility. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanics will provide mechanical services to plant equipment and facilities. An Industrial Maintenance Mechanics with Boiler and/or Kiln experience is preferred.

Essential Functions

• Install, overhaul, repair, and maintain plant facilities, services, and equipment, using hand tools, trade tools, machines, and supplies.
• Work from blueprints, written specifications, and instructions.
• Diagnose work to determine mechanical trouble and perform corrective work
• Overhaul, repairs, maintains and installs all plant machinery
• Assist electricians as required and perform minor electrical work.
• Perform HAZWOPER duties to respond to hazardous material spills.

Job Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment
• Electrical wiring and mechanical skills
• Working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance, Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
