Overview

We are working with a manufacturer in the Bedford Heights, OH area looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team on 3rd shift. This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of our production line through proactive maintenance and timely repair of equipment. Shift will be Tues-Fri 12a-7a, Saturday 12a-9:45a.

Salary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $34.00 USD Hourly

Responsibilities

• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, robotic arms, conveyors, and automated systems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and prevent production delays.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment performance in our maintenance management system.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to address equipment issues, support new equipment installation, and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including schematics, PLCs, motors, and control circuits.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
