Overview
Description — Summary of Job: We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machine Operator to join our growing 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate, Maintain and Setup CNC machinery from blueprints with tooling.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineer on program changes to the machine, when needed.
- Perform Quality check on parts for accuracy according to blueprint specs.
- Identify product defects and work with QC team.
- Conduct minor maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safe operating procedures.
- Work with team members and shift supervisor on the assembly line.
Qualifications
- Swiss machining experience required.
- Knowledge of FANUC controls.
- Knowledge of 4th axis operation, a plus.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Knowledge of programming machinery for specific tasks.
- Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control practices.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is advantageous.
Physical Job Requirements and Work Environment

- Ability to frequently bend, lift and move up to 40 pounds load and lift steel bar stock into machines.
- Ability to bend, lift and move up to 40 pounds of finished good once cut down to size from machine.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to physically perform all job duties. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform all essential job functions.
- Machine shop environment with fast-paced production environment.
- When working in the machine shop, use of hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes are required.
