Schedule: 3rd Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Potential for additional hours including weekends

Role Overview
As a Line Lead, you will enhance value and eliminate waste across the supply chain, ensuring production of quality products in a safe, cost-effective manner that meets schedules and standards. You will foster a positive environment, evaluate employee performance, and provide coaching and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment, participate in safety walks, and promote safety culture.
- Use Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessments to prevent injuries, review safety procedures regularly.
- Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective measures to improve safety and operations.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs and food handling standards, providing training as needed.
- Manage staffing during shift changes, oversee production lines, sanitation, and changeovers.
- Plan and coordinate changeovers to minimize downtime, monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Complete production paperwork accurately, work with the schedule to meet targets.
- Report employee issues to the Supervisor, recommend disciplinary actions, and provide performance feedback.
- Resolve team conflicts, recognize non-technical issues, and involve HR when necessary.
- Assist in revising SOPs, suggest improvements, and communicate updates to staff.
- Monitor performance standards, ensure compliance, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Identify training needs and lead training initiatives.
- Understand machine operations, verify settings, and maintain product quality.
- Operate label machines, verify product specs, and prevent errors.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation, follow protocols, and uphold hygiene standards.
- Support operations during breaks, manage shift transitions, and communicate disruptions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to interpret industry, production, and technical documents in English.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Understanding of production procedures and safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team skills.
- Experience in fast-paced, quality-focused environments.
- Basic math skills; ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Experience with equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Problem-solving and data analysis skills.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food industry.
- Leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and safety regulations is a plus.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Work in a typical manufacturing environment, may require overtime.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various climates, and in confined spaces.
- Stand, walk, squat, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Operate equipment, climb ladders, and maintain good hand-eye coordination.
- Work safely with PPE, and adapt to diverse environments.
