Welder ' Weitsman Recycling
Location: Owego, NY
Pay Range: $25/hour
Employment Type: Full-time

Weitsman Recycling is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to support the maintenance and fabrication of machinery and structural components across our recycling operations. If you're experienced in MIG, TIG, and arc welding and want to work for a company committed to environmental responsibility, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding to fabricate and repair metal components
- Maintain and repair equipment, machinery, and conveyor systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Inspect and test welded joints for quality and durability
- Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and other departments to resolve welding issues
- Prior welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Welding certification preferred
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques
- Able to read technical blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physically capable of performing welding tasks in various conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or welding certification a plus
