Overview

Night Auditor position at Montage International. The Night Auditor is responsible for performing all end of day functions for the hotel and all outlets and acts as the primary contact for guests and visitors during working hours. This role supports accurate financial reporting and outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and telephone etiquette, and actively pursuing department and property goals and objectives
• Hosting and welcoming guests with a friendly and sincere demeanor
• Assisting with guest check-in and check-out, as well as folios, invoicing and billing
• Thinking creatively to identify and resolve guest stay opportunities, recovering service issues, and exceeding guest expectations
• Communicating and partnering with all department leaders and hourly associates to ensure a personalized guest experience
• Maintaining proper record keeping for guest accounts; being knowledgeable about hotel services and local surroundings to answer questions and fulfill requests
• Experience in a cash-handling position
• Basic knowledge of accounting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a hotel operations environment
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
• Possess basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle billing
• Clear communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; daily use of nearly all programs

Physical Requirements

Position requires walking and standing most of the working day; must be able to stand and move actively for up to 6 hours. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs regularly. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, writing, and other typical office/guest-service motions.
