Overview

Courier/DOT-1 role. Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages.
• Ensure shipments conform to FedEx service standards and perform related customer service tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries in accordance with FMCSA guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Courier DOT Full Time Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay

$20.22 an hour
