This range is provided by Orangetheory Fitness | Afterburn Coaching. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Role details

Job Type: Variable Hour Employee – Part-time & Full-time hours available

Hours per week: 20-40, 25 or more preferred

Compensation: You will be paid an hourly rate of $12.00 for administrative time including, not limited to meetings, continuing education, and community outreach events. The hourly rate is for non-class time hours. For classes coached, you will be paid based on OTF tenure and class attendance between $25 to $55 per class.

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Helping members set and achieve goals
• Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Being a team player

Qualifications

• Being AED/CPR certified – required
• At least 1 year of experience as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor
• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness, such as:
• NSCA
• ACE
• ACSM
• AFAA (personal training certification only)
• NASM
• NCSF
• ISSA (special provisions apply)
