If you said YES to any of the questions above, then you’re in the right place - Hillwood Country Club in Nashville TN is currently hiring additional desk staff for its standalone fitness facility. Our 22,000 square-foot facility includes over 10,000 square feet of workout space with the latest state-of-the-art equipment, including cardio machines, free weights, and stretching areas. Over 30 complimentary group exercise classes are offered each week, along with a Pilates studio for private reformer sessions. The facility includes men's and women's locker rooms with whirlpool, steam, and private massage rooms, along with childcare rooms.

This is a part-time position, would work 4-12 hours a week and will float between departments as needed

What You’ll Do

  • Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service
  • Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize POS system to charge members for fitness services and merchandise
  • Maintain cleanliness of the fitness center, including merchandise area and fitness equipment
  • Opening and closing duties, as needed
  • You’ll help provide a positive and engaging environment for members’ children while their parents workout, take a fitness class, get a massage, or just need a few hours to relax in our sauna and steam rooms
  • Care for children 6 weeks and older
  • Observe and maintain proper hygiene of children as needed with toilet training and diaper changing
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings
  • Ensure a safe and risk-free environment
  • Organize and execute activities that involve and entertain children
  • Build relationships and cooperate with parents
  • Assist children with food and beverage consumption

Qualifications

How you’ll succeed:

  • Customer service background and computer proficiency preferred
  • A passion for fitness and health is a PLUS
  • Punctuality and reliability is a MUST

  • Childcare or babysitting experience is a PLUS
