Material Handling Specialists - Forklift Operations
Join our dynamic team and play a critical role in optimizing our production flow! We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Material Handling Specialists to work on 2nd and 3rd shifts with expertise on a sit-down forklift or a roll clamp forklift to work in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of paper corrugated materials throughout our facility, ensuring seamless production and adherence to stringent quality standards.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and conduct thorough pre-shift forklift inspections, documenting findings and reporting maintenance needs.
- Precision Material Movement: Operate forklifts with a focus on safety and efficiency to transport materials within the production and warehouse areas.
- Production Line Optimization: Proactively manage material flow to production lines, ensuring timely and accurate staging to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations, maintaining precise inventory records.
- Warehouse Organization: Strategically stack and organize materials to maximize warehouse space and prevent damage.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other material handlers and warehouse personnel to achieve operational objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity of materials and finished goods during handling and transport.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably within the corrugated industry.
- Proven proficiency in forklift operation with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Availability to work overtime as needed (up to 12 hours and/or weekends)
