As a Director in our Work, Rewards, & Careers (WRC) practice, you will be primarily responsible for leading and/or partnering with Senior Directors to sell and deliver client engagements in your areas of subject matter expertise. You will manage consulting projects (either directly or through project managers) while acting as a coach and mentor for consultants and analysts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead Consultant on client projects and/or as the “second” for complex engagements, developing reward strategies aligned with the client’s human capital strategy and business goals.
- Manage multiple and complex project engagements to ensure profitability, associate development, and high client satisfaction.
- Lead or co-lead business development by facilitating discovery discussions with prospects and delivering proposals.
- Establish collaborative relationships with clients to understand their business issues and expand WTW’s services.
- Think strategically to pioneer unique approaches to solving client problems; provide high-quality consulting advice and engaging deliverables to senior leaders.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in written and spoken form to senior client leaders.
- Leverage and manage the work of junior staff, providing coaching and ongoing feedback; demonstrate leadership by mentoring consultants and analysts.
- Model WTW values and contribute to building a high-performing, client-satisfaction culture.
- Contribute to the development of new tools, approaches, and external visibility through intellectual capital generation and conference participation.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of design-oriented, broad-based rewards experience in consulting or a highly consultative corporate environment.
- Significant knowledge of rewards programs and processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, with ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Creative, analytical, and results-driven with the ability to draw conclusions and communicate results effectively.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to coordinate internal teams and client partners.
- Executive presence with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong client relationship skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams of high-performing professionals; mentoring/coaching skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range being offered for this role is $157,600 to $236,400 per year. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus. Base salaries may vary by location, qualifications, experience, and performance.
