Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center – Opening in 2025! When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, with a focus on residents of Wards 7 and 8 receiving high quality care in their community. The hospital will include 136 beds (expandable to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transport.
We are seeking a Supervisor, Security (Full Time)
Our ideal candidate will assist in planning, developing, administering and managing the day-to-day operations of the Security Department. The Security Supervisor will determine appropriate actions during emergency situations, including providing on-site supervision as appropriate. Perform a variety of service and administrative tasks to meet the needs of customers and fellow team members in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, administering and managing daily Security Department operations.
- Determine appropriate actions during emergencies and provide on-site supervision as needed.
- Perform service and administrative tasks to meet customer and team member needs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 3 years security supervisory experience or equivalent.
- I.A.H.S.S. (International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety) Supervisor Certification within 180 days of service or hire.
- Must be able to obtain Special Police Officer designation.
- Previous professional experience that demonstrates progressive leadership.
Skills:
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to speak, communicate effectively and professionally.
- Ability to review written reports accurately (e.g., incident reports).
- Strong organization and critical thinking skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
