The Office Manager handles the day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Office Manager will be responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision, task delegation, and working with other managers and department personnel. If you are an energetic professional who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats this is the job for you.
The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred with at least 3+ years experience as an Office Manager in the Automotive Industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. He or she must be detail-oriented and good with numbers and proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Certified Public Accountants (CPA) preferred.

- Develop organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, billing, accounting and scheduling.
- Reconciliations of schedules, including but not limited to cash, credit card, accounts receivable, vehicle receivable, contracts in transit, sublet, etc.
- Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts.
- Manage and work with office staff to ensure timely processing of all duties with ongoing follow-up to ensure all schedules are up to date.
- Continue education in management, organization and team-building skills.
- Manage employee schedules and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts as they arise.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Establish team atmosphere through leadership and employee development.
- Knowledge of dealership accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with all aspects of business office duties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with a fast-paced environment.
- Tekion experience a PLUS.
