Are you a detail-oriented, self-starting administrative professional with exceptional organizational and communication skills? A well-known nonprofit organization is seeking a Part-Time Program & Operations Associate to join our team in a temporary capacity, with the potential to transition into a permanent role depending on performance and organizational needs.

Location: Remote (Must be available during East Coast hours)

Compensation: $27–$30/hr

Start Date: ASAP (Goal: by October 15), ongoing

Hours: 14–15 hours/week, ideally 11 AM – 3 PM ET (flexible); potential for more hours

About the Role

As a Program & Operations Associate, you will provide both programmatic and administrative support across multiple teams and projects. From scheduling meetings with sector leaders and coordinating virtual events, to formatting documents and supporting strategic initiatives, this role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Program & Strategic Support

  • Coordinate complex scheduling across funders, nonprofit leaders, and executives
  • Support multi-sector networks, funder collaboratives, and communities of practice
  • Assist in planning and logistics for convenings, events, and webinars
  • Prepare digital communications and coordinate content distribution (e.g., via Constant Contact)
  • Take notes during stakeholder meetings and draft timely follow-up
  • Conduct issue-area research and track funder priorities

Operations & Administration

  • Maintain and update CRM systems (Salesforce, Google Sheets)
  • Support internal workflows and improve administrative procedures
  • Liaise with tech and other service vendors
  • Manage travel arrangements and meeting logistics
  • Format documents and prepare materials for presentations
  • Assist with grant reporting and other general correspondences

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Familiarity with Constant Contact and Zoom
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable representing executives professionally in written and email communication
  • Passionate about driving impact in the nonprofit sector
