Base pay range: $16.91/hr - $19.71/hr.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
- Effective communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Any retail experience
- Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing)
- Ability to create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions and make suggestions
- Recommend grocery items to customers and inform them of grocery specials
- Check product quality to ensure freshness and manage dates
- Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and provide customers with fresh products
- Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager
- Display a positive attitude and stay current with ads
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and keep temperature logs
- Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions
- Perform preventive maintenance and notify management of repairs
- Notify management of accidents
- Report safety risks and illegal activity
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
