Job Summary
In this role, you will treat patients presenting at a clinic and lead day-to-day operations. You will coordinate the development and implementation of site medical plans, protocols, facility requirements, emergency procedures, audits, inspections, quality assurance, and other medical practice management tasks. Your work will promote health, safety, and wellness for on-site employees.
Note: This role will initially start on dayshift to allow for training, prior to transitioning to nights.
Major Responsibilities
- Assists execution of the medical component of an ESH Program inclusive of technical and administrative aspects.
- Provides occupational, primary, and emergency medical services to site personnel.
- Administers first aid treatment to injured or ill personnel and renders follow-up treatment as needed under senior medical professional supervision.
- Prepares incident reports as required.
- Conducts drug and alcohol screenings.
- Possesses the critical skills and relevant current training to deliver emergency and routine medical care.
- Ensures safe standards of nursing care according to legislation, policies and procedures as contained in nursing manuals and standard medical protocols.
- Administers triage system and is proficient in physical examinations.
- Facilitates and coordinates required lab work and diagnostic testing or medical imaging requirements.
- Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients presenting at clinic where a Clinical Nurse Team Leader level is required.

Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in nursing and 5-8 years of relevant experience in occupational health and emergency nursing, and a valid nursing license for the location assigned
Required Knowledge and Skills
Requires NFPA 1006, 2021 Edition, Rope Awareness and Operations Training (Pro Board Certifications or equivalent), Incident Command Awareness High Angle Rescue Confined Space Rescue Trench Rescue Swift Water Rescue Previous experience in Fire and Rescue. Previous experience in operation Oil, Gas & Chemical Plant/Facilities and/or Construction. Experience in Emergency Medical Response. Ability to research and comprehend organizational and regulatory requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer skills for preparing presentations, data management, and report preparation. Analytical skills related to sampling, monitoring, and recordkeeping. Adaptable and able to work outdoors in a field environment under various weather conditions. Ability to support multiple work shifts, as needed, and a wide range of tasks. Valid driver's license.
Additional Information: Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc).
