Full-Time Nurse Practitioners Wanted in West Hempstead, New York at Heart Care Center PC.
We are seeking Full-Time Nurse Practitioners to join a Primary Care practice to diagnose and treat health conditions and promote good health practices. As an advanced practice registered nurse, you will be essential in ensuring optimal patient care.
Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, until 5:00 pm.
Salary ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience, plus full benefits.
Responsibilities of Nurse Practitioner
- Conduct physical examinations and interpret lab tests
- Oversee patients’ health and diagnose conditions
- Support disease prevention and health education
- Prescribe medications and propose treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and prevention
- Promote overall health and wellness
- Engage in professional development and research
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in clinical settings
- Expertise in primary, acute, or chronic care
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ethics, patience, and problem-solving abilities
- Team-oriented attitude
- Valid New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- ANP/FNP certification and DEA number
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Bilingual skills are a plus
