Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience, with roles focused more on front-end or back-end depending on customer needs. The team operates in a dynamic, multitasking environment that requires a strong understanding of large-scale database and application development, data modeling, and data mapping—especially for systems managing terabytes of data. This role is perfect for someone who excels at driving process improvements while maintaining high data quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Programming and development using languages such as Java, Python, and TypeScript.
• Participating in software development to support innovative and enhanced customer applications.
• Experience with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SOLR, Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Developing and consuming RESTful services within service-based architectures.
• Following industry best practices for Agile development, automated testing, and continuous integration.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in a technical field.
• Experience in full-stack development.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Desired Skills

• Experience with cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Knowledge of application security, including TLS, user authentication, and data protection.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Angular, Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI+
