Software Engineer Job at C2R Ventures in New York

Collegial and successful Quant trading firm is looking for an Engineer with experience in C++ and multithreaded programming.

You will work closely with the business to assist in launching new systematic strategies while also helping to build out the firm’s proprietary trading platform.

Successful candidates should have 5+ years of experience developing systematic, cross asset, and/or high frequency trading and order management systems.

To be qualified, you must have:

• Experience in C/C++, Python, Linux, Object Oriented Programming, Templates, Sockets and Multithreading
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with FIX Protocol
• Experience with the backtesting and simulation of automated trading strategies
• A good understanding of straight-through-processing (STP) requirements and EMS/OMS architectures
• Real-time market data development experience

Additional experience that is a plus to have:

• Automated trading systems development experience on the buy side
• Experience with feed handlers and/or order management systems (OMS)
• Low latency trading or optimization experience
• Cross asset trading systems experience
• Experience building high frequency trading systems
• Experience developing algo containers and related frameworks

Must have at least 2 years of post grad experience, 2023, 2024 and 2025 grads will not be considered.
