The Herff Jones Cap and Gown team, based in Arcola IL, is looking for a warehouse associate to join our team. Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for pulling, packing, and inspecting graduation apparel orders.

Here's how you'll make an impact:

• Meet production and quality standards for this operation.
• Train and direct new personnel.
• Learn about all product lines and processes in the warehouse.
• Select material by quality standards, colors, styles, and shades.
• Recognize colors and different cloth styles.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Self-motivation.
• Adequate computer skills.
• Reading, writing, and math skills commensurate with job duties.
• Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to recognize colors and different cloth styles.
• Ability to work all mandatory overtime.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.

Physical activities:

• Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
• Reading, communication, simple math.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50lbs.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.
• Standing, walking, squatting, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling for 8-10 hour shifts is required.
