Matthews Memorialization is hiring: Warehouse Associate in Stone Mountain

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Stone Mountain, GA Distribution HUB. This position supports the seamless flow of day-to-day operations and helps deliver value to our customers. This is an early morning shift, starting at 4am - 10am, Monday - Friday. Our Warehouse Associates work approximately 25 hours per week with a starting hourly pay rate of $22/hour.

Company Matthews Memorialization is a leader in the memorialization industry, providing quality caskets, urns, memorial jewelry and related products to funeral home customers. Matthews International is the parent company.

Job Responsibilities

• You will be loading and unloading caskets and other memorialization products from various production facilities.
• Prepare products for delivery and unload products to be stored in the warehouse.
• Scan products, pull correct orders and maintain a clean work environment.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work 5-6 hour shifts being on your feet, walking, pushing, pulling products.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

• Regularly stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment may include exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving machinery, fumes or airborne particles, extreme temperatures, risk of electrical shock, and chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.
