What You’ll Be Working On

• Operate a 16’–18’ box truck to support route collection program and daily residential routes.
• Complete truck inspections, map routes, and pick up/move items including clothing and small furniture.
• Maintain accurate route data, driver’s logs, and truck maintenance records.
• No CDL required to be considered for this position.
• 2–3 years’ experience driving a 16’–18’ box truck preferred; 3–5 years clean driving record.
• Lift up to 70 lbs daily and ability to push/pull a pallet jack.

Essential Job Functions

• Safely maneuver and operate a 16’–18’ box truck on residential streets and in tight spaces.
• Complete daily residential routes, collecting clothing, small furniture, and other household items.
• Follow GPS directions and efficiently complete routes and stops.
• Complete required daily paperwork including vehicle inspection, delivery reports, and maintenance forms.
• Assist other drivers with workload as needed.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and readiness for each shift.
• Ensure compliance with Savers policies and state laws; occasional DOT-related conditions apply (see below).
• Employment is conditional on receiving a DOT Medical Card, passing a pre-employment drug screen, and having a driver record without violations or accidents in the last three years.

What You Have

• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, state and Savers safety regulations.
• Professional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative, assume responsibility, and be accountable.
• Prior driving experience and strong knowledge of local roads in the assigned area.
• Ability to operate GPS tools and manage two-way communications.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Ability to be detail-oriented and prioritize tasks.

Minimum Required Education, Training And Experience

• 2–3 years’ experience driving a 16’–18’ box truck (preferred).
• 3–5 years clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift up to 70 lbs daily.
• Ability to pull or push a pallet jack and stand for extended periods.
