Summary
CHS Southwest Grain in Dickinson, ND is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to deliver fuel, propane, and other commodities to our local CHS customers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would have a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and has experience hauling fuel or other hazmat material. This position is M-F with overtime during our busy seasons. Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement, and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Class A or B CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals.

Additional Qualifications

• Must meet DOT and company requirements.
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands.
• Bulk liquid experience preferred.
• Pre-employment screening may be required based on job requirements and industry guidelines; if required, candidates must pass screenings including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 80 lbs, and to walk, stand, sit, bend, and kneel.
