General Description

A Truck Driver - Fuel is an hourly-rated skilled craft position that performs various duties on construction projects, including transferring between tasks as needed.

Key Duties

• Hold a Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A
• Possess Hazmat and tanker endorsements
• Maintain an acceptable driving record
• Drive fuel trucks and service heavy equipment
• Perform daily safety checks and maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Perform incidental work as required

Qualification Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years in related industry, with emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, work in various weather conditions, and climb on heavy equipment
• Work Environment: Outdoors, exposure to noise, grease, dust, near heavy machinery, and substances like gasoline and diesel
