Job Description

Tow truck drivers will provide top-tier towing services for RB Global, handling inbound and outbound towing of light-duty vehicles, including motorcycles, travel trailers, and other vehicles compatible with a standard ball hitch. Responsibilities include vehicle pickup and delivery according to Due Dates assigned by the RB Global Dispatch Team, providing status updates to customers and dispatchers, and performing all necessary communication, paperwork, condition reporting, and imaging, including title verification as needed.

This is a temporary, on-call role with an expected duration of 3-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tow trucks and tow light-duty vehicles without causing damage.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are not damaged and trucks are in good condition.
• Safely tow customer vehicles.
• Record all pickup and delivery details, including images, using the IAA Tow App.
• Verify title information when necessary and communicate discrepancies to the Dispatch Team.
• Complete all assigned tow jobs by or before the due date.
• Perform other duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of towing or transport experience.
• Attentive driving with care.
• Route planning and efficiency skills.
• Ability to handle hazards and obstructions safely.
• Mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobiles.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work 12-14 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Dispatch experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round.
