Job Description

As a Security Guard Media Unarmed Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and employees. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor the premises for unusual activity, report findings, and communicate with Allied Universal management as needed.
• Support access control procedures by verifying identification and permissions for individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with client personnel and Allied Universal team members to address site-specific security-related needs and concerns.
• Remain alert and ready to respond to alarms, emergencies, or requests for assistance throughout the location.

Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
