Position details

Looking for an English/Mandarin-Speaking Teacher for a progressive preschool in the Irvine area. We are only interested in candidates who have a passion for the field and meet all the requirements listed. We are seeking individuals who have chosen early education as a career, not just a job.

You must love children and be excited to grow professionally and personally, to help create a happy environment for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively implement an emergent curriculum.
• Be open to working with all ages within our programming.
• Be flexible and genuinely resonate with our unique philosophy.
• Demonstrate eagerness to grow within the school.

Qualifications

• 24 ECE units (B.A. or B.S. preferred).
• 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; fluent in Spanish a plus.
• Qualify for the Master Teacher Permit or B.A. in Child Development or equivalent.
• At least two years leading in a classroom and collaborating with a team.
• Ability to collaboratively implement an emergent curriculum.

Compensation

Compensation: Salary is based on experience, education, and position. Hourly rate: $25.00 - $29.00. Medical, dental, and vision benefits. 401K. Paid holidays.
