Summary

The Goddard School is a premier early childhood education center committed to providing a nurturing and academically rich environment for young children. We are currently seeking a flexible, energetic, and supportive Resource Teacher to join our team. The Resource Teacher plays a vital role in supporting classrooms across all age groups, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth operation, continuity of care, and consistency in implementing our play-based learning curriculum.

Duties

• Provide coverage and assistance in classrooms ranging from infants to Pre-K based on daily staffing needs
• Implement lesson plans, maintain classroom ratios, and support child-led learning experiences
• Transition between classrooms throughout the day
• Supervision- maintain safety and well-being of all children by following school policies, licensing regulations, and best practices in early childhood education
• Maintain strong communication and a positive, cooperative relationship with fellow staff, administrators, and families
• Assist with behavior guidance, daily routines like meals, diapering/toileting, napping, and classroom organization
• Help with classroom tidiness, sanitation, and material preparation to support a clean and engaging environment
• Support teachers in maintaining accurate attendance, daily sheets, and observations as needed
  
  

Requirements

• High school or GED required
• CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• Experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting
• Must pass background checks and have required health assessment
