Overview

Griswold Home Care for Greater Newport Beach is hiring caregivers and CNAs. We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team.

Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Compensation: $20 to $22 per hour

Working hours and locations

Immediate openings in Newport Beach:

• Overnights 10p-7a
• Daily 8a-8p or Overnights 8p-8a

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship
• Assist with activities of daily living (e.g., laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation)
• Support clients with personal hygiene and daily routines
• Offer companionship and engage clients, including those with dementia or cognitive impairments
• Complete shift documentation and communicate with the office about client needs

What we need from you

• Compassion and great communication
• Reliable transportation
• 6 months of experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Your life as a caregiver

You help seniors live as fully and independently as possible while remaining in their homes. You perform non-medical care and home companionship, assist with daily tasks, and maintain client dignity. You may provide care for clients with dementia or cognitive challenges. You complete documentation for each shift and stay in regular contact with the office.
