What’s the Job?

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in a food processing environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on production equipment, including motors, control panels, conveyors, and packaging machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems; perform basic PLC troubleshooting and adjustments.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, OSHA regulations, and food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.).

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or electrical trade school preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as an industrial or maintenance electrician, preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing facility.
• In-depth knowledge of 3-phase motors, motor control systems, sensors, relays, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with food processing electrical systems and sanitation practices.
• Basic understanding of PLC logic and industrial automation systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
