Commercial Construction Journeyman Electrician — Grand Rapids, MI. Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced and motivated, full-time licensed Electrician. Vander Hyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical industry and has proudly been in business for over 35 years. Base pay range
$25.00/hr - $38.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems at new construction job sites and remodel projects.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- Ability to interpret building plans to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Ability to self-manage and troubleshoot independently on the job site.
- Lead compliance with OSHA and other company safety standards.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of electrical principles, construction, and wiring schematics.
- Ability to lead a team and work independently.
Qualifications
- Relevant hands-on 3 years experience.
- Maintain and hold a valid Journeyman's Electrician License.
- Possess a valid driver\'s license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to use a wide variety of construction tools and techniques.
- Possess personal hand tools.
